The Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers a full spectrum of facial cosmetic & reconstructive procedures to improve and enhance the appearance and function of the face and neck. Friendly and personalized care is tailored to address the needs of each individual patient.
As an integral member of the University of Cincinnati Level 1 Trauma Center, a comprehensive approach is instituted to care for all injuries in a coordinated and smooth fashion.
Facial Injury Treatment Facial Procedures are available to repair facial injuries and deformities in order to restore contour and function. They can be either facial bone and/or facial skin and tissue injuries
Facial Bone treatment: Nose fractures Cheek fractures Jaw fractures Orbit fractures Forehead bone fractures
Facial Skin and Soft Tissue Injury treatment: Complex lacerations Facial Scars Injuries, which hinder facial movement Missing and torn tissues
Contour and facial function can be improved. Newer procedures to improve nasal breathing and facial movement are available.
The goal of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division is to improve appearance and restore function with procedures for facial injuries, facial paralysis, and birth deformities.
