Snoring

Forty-five percent of normal adults snore at least occasionally and 25% are habitual snorers.  Snoring is an obstructive sleep disorder which can cause sleep fragmentation and restless sleep for both patient and bed partner.  Office based palate procedures are performed under local anesthesia with improvement in snoring intensity for most patients with minimal discomfort.  Some patients with snoring also have obstructive sleep apnea.
